Awards Supper

The Cheesemakers Candle-lit Supper.

St Mary’s Church, Church Terrace (off Church Street), Melton Mowbray. LE13 0PW.

The Supper takes place on the Saturday evening of the Artisan Cheese Fair.

All cheesemakers attending the Artisan Cheese Fair are invited to attend free of charge (included in the Fair Booking Fee). Other cheesemakers may attend with advance notice and the payment of £12/

Dress code: Informal

The Awards Supper is a very informal affair. Many of the cheesemakers attending will have had a busy day selling their cheese at the Artisan Cheese Fair so will not have time to go back to a hotel and change. This is why the dress code is informal.

The meal is self service and comprises of a main course which includes the pie that has won Supreme Champion at the British Pie Awards (aslo judged in St Mary’s Church) and a dessert. Many of the guests bring their own bottle of wine etc.
